I continue to work for the University of Kentucky as a programmer/analyst – for 37 years so far – and hope to continue for a good long while, until they put me out to pasture. For an IT person, I am a dinosaur at the age of 60. I provide programming support (web-database) to the UK Graduate School. I do not get free basketball tickets! I have traveled quite a bit internationally, most recently with a choir from the Cathedral to perform in Rome (got to sing for Blessed John Paul II just months before his death). I have also done volunteer work for numerous (non-political!) organizations. I attend Mass almost daily. These days, I spend my free time maintaining my house, volunteering, playing with my yellow Labrador retriever, and exercising. I usually make it home to Fort Dodge twice a year to see my family. Mom and Dad (Gene and Betty) still live in fort Dodge and belong to Sacred Heart. They know a lot of my classmates. Surprising: I took up soccer at the age of 35 and played beyond my 50th birthday. I own power tools. :-)
