Mitchell Hanrahan

On April 2, 1998, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the body of 43 year old Mitch Hanrahan was found in his apartment located at 4129 South Meadows Road. Mitch was employed by the NM State Environment Department's Solid Waste Division where he had been working for 8 years. His work took him all over the state of NM and he was well liked and respected by everyone who worked with him.

Hanrahan -- Mitchell J. Hanrahan, age 44, of Santa Fe, died March 30, 1998 at his home in Santa Fe. He is survived by his mother; a brother; two sisters; sons, Michael and Edward; step-son, Carlos; step-daughters, Norma, Claudia, Nubia, Sondra, Laura; and one step-granddaughter, Angelica. Mitchell was born and raised in Fort Dodge, Iowa and attended Mankato State University, receiving a BA in accounting. Mitchell worked for Land O'Lakes in Alberta Lea, MN and Norwest Bank in Minneapolis, MN before coming to Santa Fe in 1988. He worked for the Environmental Improvement Division for the State of New Mexico as a Management Analyst. Mitchell was a volunteer for the Santa Fe High School Wrestling Team and was a Certified Wrestling Referee. An outdoor memorial service will be held at the A.
